Blackpool striker Bobby Grant has joined Shrewsbury Town in a one-month loan deal.Although he hasn't had much action with the Seasiders who he joined mid last year, Grant is hopeful that will change during his spell at Shrewsbury, as he explained on the teams website saying; "For myself, it's about getting out there and playing." "I can score goals at this level, I've proved that throughout my career. It was about coming down, enjoying my football and playing for a team in this league which, I think, should be right up there. I can't wait to get started now."

Following an ankle injury that he suffered during a match against Derby County last month, Nottingham Forest defender Jack Hobbs,is looking at a possible three months of no action. Season over for Brighton & Hove Albion's Andrew Crofts

Andrew Crofts.jpg

After suffering his second knee injury in a year, during a match against Watford on Saturday, Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Andrew Crofts has had to pull out of the rest of the season. No doubt this appears to be history repeating itself for Crofts, who missed the second half of last season due to a similar injury. While the injury is a huge blow to the club, the teams manager, Sami Hyypia is optimistic that Crofts will overcome this setback as he explained on the club website, saying;"We are all devastated for Crofty.

Gulls guru Hargreaves has valid point for t' committee.

Gulls boss Chris Hargreaves has had a dig at the midweek Conference Premier programme this week. We can see his point after twenty of the twenty-four sides played.  Normally the system sees two games a week for everyone ahead of the weather getting bad, sensible with  t' committee even trying to localise as much as possible to avoid long trips. This has led to some having a dig that local derby crowds have suffered due to police pressure, but then we can't have everything in the league the moneymen have tried to forget.
