Vanarama National League - Teams review continued 16th place to 9th

Another one of the leagues newcomers is Guiseley, 16th place in the table, with 15 points and a solid start, consisting of 3 wins 6 draws 3 defeats, if they can turn a few of the draws in to wins, they could find themselves consolidate a top half position in there first season in the League. However they face a tough away trip this weekend at in form Baintree.

Chester come next in 15th place with 4 wins 4 draws and 4 defeats with a total of 16 points they'll be thinking they could have done better, so in the coming fixtures, like many others they will be looking to push on to try and get into the top eight.

Barrow in 14th place 5 wins, 2 draws 5 defeats, on 17 points will be looking for another 3 points on Saturday at home t bottom club Kidderminster. With an ambitious owner they'll be looking to push for a play off place even though its their first season back.

Aldershot in 13th place are one of three clubs on 17 points with 5 wins 2 draws and 5 defeats, out of their last six fixtures they've won four, if they can beat Macclesfield at home Saturday making it 15 points out of 21 they will think they're heading in the right direction for sure.

Lincoln City are the third club on 17 points , 4 wins 5 draws 3 defeats and find themselves in 12th place. A full time club with aspirations of making the play offs this season, they must start turning draws into wins starting this Saturday at home to manager less Torquay.

One of the pre-season favorites Eastleigh will feel they've under achieved so far with financial backing and a good squad they sit 11th with 18 points 5 wins 3 draws 4 defeats and not having won in their last 6 games face a tough trip to Wrexham. Especially since losing their boss, through some internal wrangling, the future looks bleak.

In 10th place is Dover with 18 points only losing 2, winning 4 and drawing 6 they'll be happy with that solid start in the first 12 fixtures of the season and will be full of confidence after winning away at Eastleigh going into their home game against Woking on Friday evening.

9th placed Grimsby 18 points 4 wins 6 draws 2 defeats another of the fancied teams at the start of the season, they'll be looking to push on now to challenge for a play off place but are another team that need to turn draws into wins.

A lot of big full time clubs who are handily placed but need to push on at this early stage, to get themselves in the mix If they want to challenge for play off places around the Christmas period.
